CVF Titan v2 Intercooler (2015-2024 F-150 2.7L/3.5L/Raptor EcoBoost; 2021-2024 3.5L PowerBoost)

I have been saving up for this for a while and it was well worth it! I do not tow BUT I do live where there are a lot of large rolling hills. I usually have to mash the throttle to keep up to speed. With this intercooler I never have to go above 2000-2500 rpms because I don't have heat soak anymore. My MPG has gone up as well. Install was straight forward. You did have to cut a little off the shroud for the V2 to fit up there but it was very easy with some basic hand tools. I look forward to purchasing some more products to get the most out of my 2.7.

I have been doing some research on intercooler for my 21 f150 and after much consideration I decided to pull the trigger on the titan v2. Installation was a breeze and I was able to do it myself with basic hand tools. You can tell that cvfab puts their all into what they build because this thing is a beast and looks amazing compared to the cheap factory intercooler ford uses. Paired with the cvfab hot and cold side piping and I can confidently say that you can tell a difference in the way your vehicle feels while driving. Acceleration is much smoother throughout the entire range. I just recently leveled my truck and I was expecting mpg loss but in my opinion this product alleviates that issue and I’m retaining the same mpg when my truck was stock height. I cannot recommend this product enough as it is built great and has an amazing price point! Do yourself a favor, get this intercooler, you will not be disappointed.

I installed the Titan 2 intercooler in order to try and pick up some gains across the board, in addition to when I’m towing. Thus far I have been monitoring my intake air temps in comparison to the ambient air temperatures, and they are running much much closer to one another than they were with the OEM intercooler. With over double the size so clearly does seem to be an issue anymore thank goodness! On average I’m seeing temp differences between 13-20 degrees which is not bad at all in East Texas with temps reaching close to 100.

If you’re looking for a good upgrade, that WILL provide noticeable differences in your overall power and towing. REMEMBER, this isn’t like vaulting on nitro oxide and feeling a massive hundred horsepower difference right off the bat. The difference and power that you will be seeing comes in the form of heat soak what you would see normally when driving extended periods of time as well as stop and go through town, etc..

*The overall install is not bad just make sure you’re prepared to remove the flaps in front of the factory set up where you can actually zip tie the motor up to the side of the frame and leave it plugged in that way you don’t pull any codes or etc., not sure if it would but did it as a precautionary measure.
