The CVF Performance Intercooler for the Ford Maverick is a direct fit replacement that is over 240% larger than the stock unit. As the charts above indicate, during independent testing we've observed a reduction of 30+ degrees in Charge Air Temperature where it matters: on the street, and not at the dyno (the same vehicle under similar conditions).

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
Trimming of plastic shroud is required due to the increased size of the intercooler. Check engine lights will not be activated.

Huge core compared to stock. Does require some cutting and trimming but well worth it. Not only does this intercooler perform far superior over stock, it looks and stands out amazingly !!! It says “ BOOSTED “ all day. CVF fabrication’s customer service is #1 also.

I did a high elevation trip with high temps and a heavy travel trailer (3,800 GVWR). It was 3 people, their stuff, and a weeks worth of food to Crater Lake.
I used a Bluetooth scanner to monitor the temps and the CVF intercooler worked great. It may even have saved the truck from damage! Even in the worst of it, (low speeds for hours, climbing steep grades, 5,000 ft elevation, 110 F temperatures, etc) the intake rarely went over 135 F!
Definitely helped keep the power in the truck available if/when I needed it.

This is my first CVF product and I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this intercooler. Installation is fairly straightforward. The stock intercooler heat soaks quickly, there’s a noticeable difference after installing the CVF IC.
On my last Maverick I adapted a Focus intercooler because there weren’t a lot if options yet, but with the CVF at this price point, there’s no reason to mess with couplers and custom brackets just to adapt a Focus or universal intercooler. CVFab is definitely the way to go.
