LESS HEAT, MORE POWER
Improve the performance of your EcoBoost F-150 by replacing the small, inefficient stock intercooler to reduce heat and produce more power. This intercooler is a direct fit replacement that features 120% greater volume than the OEM intercooler (core volume is 19.75" x 17" x 4"). As the chart above indicates, during independent testing the Atlas IC reduced Intake Air Temps. (IAT2) to 75 degrees while the OEM intercooler's temps. increased to 105 degrees where it matters most: on the street, and not at the dyno (note: runs were made on the same vehicle and the same stretch of road during similar ambient temps.). Cooler, more consistent charge temps. = more consistent power.
EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
Manufactured from top-grade aluminum, the CVF Atlas Intercooler features a TIG-welded bar-and-plate design for maximum durability and fully cast end tanks to ensure maximum flow of air into the unit and out to your turbo - equaling more HP. The Atlas V2 update features an updated design which includes a condensation drain on the cold side end tank as well as direct fitment of the OEM BOV canister: no more VTA plug and adapter is required for installation on 13-14 models.
