APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
The active grille shutters (AGS) have to be removed for installation. There is no check engine light associated with removal of the AGS and they can be placed back on the vehicle if the intercooler is removed.

I received my Titan V2 Intercooler just days after placing my order. Packaging was superb, shipping was fast, and the CV Fab product is superior in every way imaginable to the OEM unit.
Install is pretty straight forward, but can be a bit difficult without an extra set of hands when positioning the Intercooler and bolting the bottom support plate back on. This unit is significantly larger and heavier than the OEM. I was able to do it solo, but an extra pair of hands would have definitely made the process easier!
Temps are currently in the 20's here, so I'm not expecting to see any real benefit right now. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the benefits once it warms back up and I start towing my camper regularly, though. I have no doubt that this unit (also did Hot & Cold side pipes) will be a significant upgrade to help combat the heatsoak that's common to the F150 Ecoboost platform.

I have been saving up for this for a while and it was well worth it! I do not tow BUT I do live where there are a lot of large rolling hills. I usually have to mash the throttle to keep up to speed. With this intercooler I never have to go above 2000-2500 rpms because I don't have heat soak anymore. My MPG has gone up as well. Install was straight forward. You did have to cut a little off the shroud for the V2 to fit up there but it was very easy with some basic hand tools. I look forward to purchasing some more products to get the most out of my 2.7.

An absolute must for your ecoboost! The truck became significantly more responsive and definitely has more consistent power. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. This is how it should have came from the factory!

I have been doing some research on intercooler for my 21 f150 and after much consideration I decided to pull the trigger on the titan v2. Installation was a breeze and I was able to do it myself with basic hand tools. You can tell that cvfab puts their all into what they build because this thing is a beast and looks amazing compared to the cheap factory intercooler ford uses. Paired with the cvfab hot and cold side piping and I can confidently say that you can tell a difference in the way your vehicle feels while driving. Acceleration is much smoother throughout the entire range. I just recently leveled my truck and I was expecting mpg loss but in my opinion this product alleviates that issue and I’m retaining the same mpg when my truck was stock height. I cannot recommend this product enough as it is built great and has an amazing price point! Do yourself a favor, get this intercooler, you will not be disappointed.
